Hrithik Roshan has a golden run in the decade 2000-2009 . Here is a summary His first film KNPH was the HGOTY of 2000. K3G was the second HGOTY of 2001 KMG was HGOTY of 2003. Krrish was almost an ATG overtaken by Dhoom 2 an  ATG in 2006. In this decade, he did 14 films out of which only 4 are flops which gives a success ratio of 70%  From 2000-2006, he has 5 movies in top 10 Among 14 movies, 5 movies are blockbusters which means one blockbuster in every third movie .

Clashes in Bollywood have been happening ever since. But it mattered little in pre multiplex area  as movies used to trend and collect in many weeks. Post 2000s decade, front loading of movies has taken centrestage. Movies today aim for bulk of their collections in first 3 days. As a result, every star and producer wants the movie to get a festival/holiday release to cash in. Inevitably, clashes are happening more frequently and solo releases are given to only those stars who prove their mettle at the box office like aamir khan and salman khan. In the recent years, fading stars like shahrukh khan, akshay kumar and hrithik roshan have been facing clash issues with virtually every film. Hrithik Roshan's last three films (bang bang, mohenjodaro and kaabil) all faced clashes. Shahrukh too faced a clash in Raees  (after postponing a clash with sultan) and then had to shift his release JHMS to avoid clash with TEPK (which eventually didnt work as film flopped).
